M/E Design Highlights:
- High Pressure Steam, 150 psig, Water Tube Boiler replaced with High-Efficiency Fire Tube Boiler;
- Temporary Steam Generator: coordinated all details of provision of trailer-mounted temporary steam boiler to provide uninterrupted steam during removal and replacement of existing boiler;
- Low Pressure Steam, 15 psig, Single-Effect Absorption Chiller replaced with High-Efficiency Electric Centrifugal Chiller;
- Equipment Ingress: detailed de-energization of overhead electric service and roof protection needed to safely Aland@ new chiller;
- Design/Documentation Clarity: rigorous determination of connections to existing M/E utilities, including close coordination with hospital O/M Staff, helped to simplify installations and expedite project delivery;
- Safety: refrigerant leak-detection and purge systems provided for chiller project;
